Preaching of Sanatan Dharma

[spacer height=”20px”]

The Sanskrit word sanatana means “eternal” and the word dharma means “occupation.” Therefore the term “Sanatana Dharma” can be taken to mean our eternal occupation. It is the eternal function of the eternal living entities in relationship with the eternal Supreme Lord. It is very important to learn yourself and then teach the philosophy of the Eternal Religion (Sanatan-Dharma) to your children and others.

Cow Protection

[spacer height=”20px”]

We believe that protecting cows is the most important component of protecting the earth. According to the ancient Vedic texts the cow is the representative of Mother Earth. And, when the cow and the bull are mistreated, Mother Earth withdraws her bounty.

Festivals

[spacer height=”20px”]

Festivals are an integral part of Kalki Dham. With myriad of colourful decorations, multi-course feasts (bhandara), elaborate rituals, kirtans, dance and dramas, the festivals make spiritual progress a fun-filled experience. The original Vedic flavor is thus revived, and anyone who participates in them can vouch that there is no modern day substitute for these soul-satisfying experiences.

Bhandaras (Prasadam Distribution)

[spacer height=”20px”]

Prasadam distribution is an essential element of Sanatan Dharma. Not only are the devotees instructed to prepare and offer sumptuous foodstuffs to the Lord, taking only His remnants as their own eatables, they are also requested to liberally distribute Krsna prasadam to all other persons who are suffering due to spiritual hunger.
